Rick Cross, Pastor

Pastor Rick CrossRick has served as pastor of Faith Baptist since 1997. Prior to his present position, he was the youth pastor at Faith for ten years. Following a B.A. in Bible and M.A. in Pastoral Theology from Bob Jones University, he continued his education, completing a Doctor of Ministry from Northland International University. Rick and Donna have four children: Beth, Jenny, David and Steven. Rick enjoys loving Jesus Christ with the FBC family, reading and technology. Psalm 27:4 is a favorite Bible verse.

Barry Gerdt, Music Pastor

Barry GerdtPastor Barry Gerdt, serves as Pastor of Music at Faith Baptist Church. He received his B.A. degree in Sacred Music from Bob Jones University, in Greenville, South Carolina, and an M.A. from Pensacola Christian College, Pensacola, Florida. After serving as Music Pastor in ministries in the Midwest, he became Director of Music at Northland Baptist Bible College from 1993 to 2006. His responsibilities at Faith include directing the church music and teaching in Faith Baptist School. Barry and his wife, Gail, have two grown sons and three grandchildren. Barry has interests in reading, baseball, and cowboys. Philippians 1:20-21, has meant a lot to him through the years.

Kip Doan, Youth Pastor

Kip DoanKip Doan has been on staff at Faith since 2005. He and his wife Nicki moved here from North Carolina where they were serving on program staff at the Wilds Christian Camp and Conference Center. Kip serves as the youth pastor and also teaches Bible in the Christian school. Kip received a Bachelor’s degree from Pensacola Christian College in Bible and later earned a M.A in pastoral studies from Heart of America Seminary in Kansas City, MO.. Kip and Nicki have one son, Kole and twin daughters, Keira and Kaelyn. Psalm 46:1 has meant a lot to Kip in that it reminds him that God is his help and strength.

Dan Perryman, School Principal

Dan PerrymanDan Perryman has taught and administrated for over 31 Years. He has a B.A. from PillsburyBaptistBibleCollege and an M.A. from TennesseeTempleUniversity. Currently Dan is a D.Min. candidate at NorthlandInternational University. He enjoys reading, watching sports, playing chess, and playing with his two grandsons. His favorite verse is Colossians 1:10.

Hal Jenks, Outreach

Hal JenksHal Jenks has served as Outreach Coordinator since 2001. He holds a Graduate of Theology Degree and Christian Education Certificate from L.I.F.E. Bible College. Since that time, Hal has been involved in various church and youth ministries. He has four grown children, and seven grandchildren. Hal’s burden is to reach out to Longmont and the surrounding areas (our “Jerusalem”, see Acts 1:8) with the good news that any one of us can know for certain, that if our life were to end unexpectedly, we would be prepared to meet our creator (I John 5:13). And further, that if we truly “follow Christ, He will make us to become fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19). One of Hal’s favorite verses is “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast!” (Ephesians 2:8,9).
